  This restaurant caters to a specific age range and for that age range it's a great establishment. More adventurous eaters will be disappointed though. Excellent service by the wait staff was great to see. But after a few minutes of taking in your surroundings you'll discover it's target audience of the retirees and seniors. Expect to season your dishes once they come out as most items are pretty bland. French fries do not come out of the fryer salted!! Which all makes sense considering who they mostly serve.

  Excellent Food. I've ordered several items from their menu in the past, and I have never been disappointed. Service is prompt and the wait staff is friendly.

  City Grille is never going to be bad. City Grille is never going to be great. City Grille uses very inexpensive ingredients to make the most with what they have. For example, I ordered the hamburger steak with peppers and onions, with a side of mashed potatoes and applesauce (and dinner rolls, of course!) The peppers and onions were previously frozen- quote easy to tell. Flimsy and watery, but- tasted decent. The mashed potatoes were potato flakes and hot water. Plain and simple. The "butter" for the bread was margarine. Don't go here expecting a high quality dinner and you'll be fine. It was good for what it was.
